The stork man cometh. I'd like to do my best to chronicle my journey through pregnancy and share my body-inebriating transformation from wife and mother to proud Mr J and hairy little Lou to wife of proud Mr J and mother of 2, hairy little Lou and the above-mentioned little monster that is growing within me as we speak. Welcome to the Ocean Beach Baby Chronicles.

Can I Get a Witness
Whoa! That's easier said than done isn't it? Who would have known that I have the virility of a Viking? At least that's the thought circling through my cobweb-tinged melon right now. My enchanting bride is probably cursing the feat with the grueling morning sickness that she is presently enduring, however. That being said, I'm going to be a dad. That's pretty crazy, huh? It's weird in a sense. Not the being a dad part, but the part about the eerie calmness that has enveloped my soul. I had envisioned curling up in a fetal position, my thumb stuck in my mouth, as I rock back and forth slowly, muttering monosyllabically over nothing in particular. Then again, aren't monosyllabic rantings generally of the lack-of-substance variety? But lo and behold, here I am. Calm. Composed. That little monster is going to be the best of my fetching bride and me, and probably Lou, too. It's all pretty exciting.
